Randalls were invited to transform the classrooms of a large primary school in the heart of the oldest part of Grimsby, using our popular TeacherWall product for schools. After providing an estimate, our Surveyor visited the school site to measure up and survey each of the classrooms. Plans were drawn up for a bespoke TeacherWall for each classroom with the specification as requested by the client.
The TeacherWalls consisted of a mixture of lockable storage cupboards, shelving, Gratnell trays and sliding whiteboards (with lines, grid and plain) all built around an existing interactive teaching screen. We even included a sink!
The TeacherWalls were installed carefully into the 130 year old building during the school holidays, ready for when the children returned. In total we installed 18 bespoke TeacherWalls throughout the school.

The walls provide a huge amount of storage, look modern and help to make our classrooms spacious and clutter free. We have been able to minimise their sources around the room and the furniture needed to store them. This has helped to create rooms that are calm, which in turn has helped to improve children’s learning dispositions. The children have less distractions and are able to concentrate on their work. They are able to move around the room easily and access resources easily.
Our next project is to refurbish intervention and break out areas. We will be calling on Randalls for this work as well! "
